Things have been a little quiet on my blog. But I do have a report that I was ready to do my 3rd donation. I just want to take this one cycle at a time. I don't know when I'll be ready for my 4th.

I told the director at Asian Egg Donation that I am willing to travel anywhere my next recipients are doing their treatment. But funny enough, my next recipients are again from Boston IVF. I replied her that Boston must be calling me. :)

I learned about this couple that I will be their 2nd attempt to get pregnant with an egg donor. Unfortunately, their first donor did not produce enough good quality eggs. They were unsuccessful in getting pregnant, and wanted to try once more. The most interesting thing to me is that they are both Chinese, and from what I know, most of the Chinese recipients prefer to only choose a Chinese donor. But this time around, they must have decided that they would look past the ethnicity and choose a donor with previous experience and proven success. Yes, I haven't mentioned this before, but I learned that both of my first two donations resulted in positive pregnancies.

Again, I can't describe the flattery once you are chosen. With some agencies, the clinic might do the matching for the recipients. At AED, the recipients have the freedom to choose the donor they feel is right for themselves. So, to be chosen as a donor by a recipient directly out of all the candidates they could have picked is even more flattering.
